These methodological guidelines for the course "Labour Protection in Electric Power" (for practical works) are intended for students of energy-related specialties at higher education institutions (141 “Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics”). The guidelines cover the key provisions of Ukrainian occupational safety legislation, outline safety requirements for operating electrical installations, and examine occupational risks in the power industry along with measures to minimize them. Special attention is given to the analysis of harmful and hazardous factors typical for work in power engineering, the organization of safe work pra ctices in electrical installations, rules of safety, fire prevention measures, and procedures for providing first aid in the event of workplace accidents. These guidelines aim to develop student’s professional responsibility, knowledge, and practical skills related to ensuring safe working conditions. They also support preparation for comleting assignments, coursework, and qualification projects.
