Methodical instructions are developed in accordance with the work program of the educational discipline "Physical education". The work briefly describes the historical foundations of the emergence of movement and sports games. The morpho-functional features of representatives of the adolescent and youth age are shown. The need for wide use of the game method in the process of physical education of various population groups has been proven. The structure, classification and basic requirements for conducting mobile games are disclosed. Pedagogical conditions for using the game method in the process of improving students' motor readiness have been revealed. Intended for students of all majors.
